Highland Products Limited t/a Zenag Chicken is a 100% PNG family owned and operated Company, specializing in the production, distribution and marketing of the highest quality farm fresh eggs and poultry products in Papua New Guinea.
The company was established in 1946 has been consistently supplying top quality meat chicken and egg products to Papua New Guinea. Catering to a wide range of consumers, we take pride in providing products that meet the highest Standards. Growing in the cool climate of altitude of 2000 feet above sea level it is ideally suited for growing chickens away from the suppressing heat of the coastal lowlands.
With our specialized housing on our company farms, we are able to control the products right from Breeding , Hatching , Growing and Processing to ensure only top quality products reach the consumers. Having these facilities also allow us to consistently develop new ways to improve on the standard of our products. Regular visits by Poultry Consultants from Australia and New Zealand ensure auditing our farming practices, train staff and implement the latest Farming Technology to maintain the highest standards of Poultry production. With very strict Quarantine Protocols and employing three full time Veterinarians to ensure our and maintain our minimal disease status. This enables Zenag to only use antibiotics only in a disease outbreak which is minimal at all levels of production.

Zenag sells Day Old Chickens all over PNG, small holder farmers raise these chickens and sell live into the Local Markets. There are over 7000 families through PNG who participate in this small scale business.
