Helifix Operations Limited is an established Port Moresby based aviation company that provides helicopter and fixed wing aircraft charter and maintenance services to Papua New Guinea.
The company was founded by Robert Agarobe, Helifix’s owner and Chief Executive Officer.
Earlier on, overseas work and training opportunities presented themselves to Agarobe as he became Papua New Guinea’s first ever licensed and qualified helicopter engineer. On his return to PNG, Agarobe worked as a helicopter engineering consultant providing his services to the various helicopter operators in the country. Soon after, Agarobe began to think laterally and recognised the opportunities that existed in the PNG aviation industry, establishing his very own aviation company in 1997. Helifix Operations Limited was born.
Today Helifix has grown into a successful outfit, employing over 70 staff nationwide, both local and expatriate, and with an impressive and continually growing rotary operations fleet of Bell helicopters and fixed wing C-208B Supervan aircraft.
