We are advertising for qualified talent to join us in our Ramu Agri Industries Office under our Sugar Agriculture Department for the following position:
 


Job Purpose
 
Undertaking ariel survey for crop growth monitoring for timely corrective action to improve the cane yield and production which also includes undertaking crop spraying for timely insecticide spraying and surveillance of fire hot spot areas for timely action.
 
Main Responsibilities:
 
  • Conduct topographic survey using Total Station.
  • Collecting geographical data from GPS and applying cartographic skills.
  • Undertaking riel surveillance using drones for crop growth monitoring, surveillance of fire prone areas and processing drone images using GIS based software.
  • Data analysis using Pix4D and producing Ortho mosaic images with interpretation.
  • Application of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing tools and their relationship towards Drone Mapping (Altitude, Ground Sampling Distance, Image Contrast, Camera Angle, Flight Speed, Terrain Folow, RTK and PPK).
  • Installation of Droe Firmware and Drone parts.
  • Updating the database with information collected during field surveys.
  • Design and compute survey data using excel, magnet office and AutoCAD 2017 for cartographic output and survey readings.
Job Requirements:

 
  • Must have a Degree in Geographic Information Science with Remote Drone Pilot Certificate.
  • Must have a minimum of two years exposure in a similar role.
  • Must have very good and clear communication skills.
  • Can be able to work in a team environment.
