We are looking for qualified talent to join us in our Ramu Agri Industries Office under our Oil Palm Department at Gusap Oil Mill for the following position:


 

Job Purpose
 
To carry out general maintenance in the Mill and the compound as directed by the management.
 
Main Responsibilities:
 
  • The incumbent would be responsible for carrying out mechanical, carpentry, and plumbing jobs in the Mill which includes painting, repair in offices and with furniture, and repair to leaking taps, sinks, toilets, and showers.
  • Responsible for carrying out minor civil jobs in the mill which include repair to broken concrete, bunds and drains, concrete slabs.
  • Responsible for carrying out repair and maintenance at mill compound houses as per workplace inspections which include repair to fly wires, doors and locks, windows, plumbing, and paining and grass cutting.
Job Requirements:

 
  • Must have a Level III certificate or must be Trade certified from a from a recognized tertiary institution in PNG in Carpentry and Joinery Trade.
  • Must have good communication skills to be able to advise Management of progress and operations.
  • Must be prepared to work weekends and to ensure work programs are completed and maintenance is accomplished.
