SWITCHBOARD OPERATOR
 
The role of switchboard operator requires the incumbent to be proficient and ensuring day to day switchboard operations are attended promptly in a courteous manner.
 
Key Accountabilities
 
  • Be able to interact face-face with both internal and external customers over the counter and maintain switchboard operations to a professional standard courteous manner,
  • Ensure incoming call is answered and taking detail message accurately
  • Be able to attend to both incoming and outgoing calls promptly and professionally
  • Professionally greet visitors and escort them in and out of the facility,
  • Transfer calls fast in a polite manner to appropriate personnel.
  • Ensuring conference room is manageable for day to day meetings and up keeping to the exceptional standard.
Job Requirements:

Qualification, Work experiences and skills
The Interested applicants must possess:
 
  • Diploma in Office Administration or related field of study
  • Superb customer service skills
  • Excellent speaking voice
  • Knowledge of switchboards and telephone systems
  • Familiarity with clerical procedures
  • Excellent Customer service skills and very good telephone manners
