Research & Publications Manager

This position requires an incumbent to oversee and supervise research and publications functions, reporting and ensure learning materials conform to adult learning principles and industry best practices and are suited to the need of the target audience. Additionally,the  incumbent should be well vested to research and education program design and development.

Key Accountabilities for Research & Publications Manager Position:
  • Research educational/training needs for CJE’s target audiences.
  • Design judicial educational programs in consultation with subject matter experts.
  • Develop educational/training materials and publications.
  • Arrange with suppliers for production, printing, binding etc. of publications.
  • Overseas distribution of publications.
  • In collaboration with the ICT Officer, select training media for use in programs.
  • Formally evaluate training/education programs and publications.
Job Requirements:


Qualification, Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Interested Applicants must possess the following:

 
  • Tertiary qualifications in Adult Education or Law and preferably with post graduate studies in instructional Design and Program Management.
  • Five (5) years’ experience in designing and developing educational programs and materials, particularly in a legal or judicial environment.
  • Adult learning understanding.
  • Leadership and management skills
