Company Description:

The Government of Papua New Guinea has established a Risk Share Facility (RSF) supported by the Microfinance Expansion Project (MEP). The MEP is co-financed by the Asian Development Bank, the Government of Australia, and the Government of Papua New Guinea. The RSF aims to facilitate access to credit by Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) in general. The RSF objective is to mitigate and share financial risks (under specific conditions); encouraging Licensed Financial Institutions (LFIs) to grow their MSE loan portfolio when lending to MSEs in general.
